Scrolling text or a video wall
A single-colour or multicolour scrolling board is what shops use for offers and what temples, clinics and classes use for notices. A finer video display is what you need when the content is photographs or film. We will ask what you want to show before we talk about pixel pitch.
Outdoor displays need a cabinet that can take rain and a brightness that can compete with the afternoon sun. Indoor displays in a showroom can be finer and less bright. The photo of the wall tells us which cabinet to quote.
You will need a way to change the message. Tell us if that will be a phone, a laptop or a counter PC, and who on your staff will do it. We would rather set that up with the install than leave a screen nobody can update.
Size is the viewing distance
A board read from the footpath can be smaller than a board read from across a junction. Enter the height and width you have space for. If you only know the wall, send that and we will propose a screen size that fits the structure.
Fixed name boards, glow signs and letters are quoted separately. A display does not replace the shop name.
What is included
- Scrolling message boards for offers and notices
- Indoor and outdoor LED video displays
- Cabinet chosen for rain and for the viewing distance
- A way for your staff to change the content
What to measure
Measure the wall or the pole space, then the screen size you want inside it. Note whether people read it from 5 metres or from the road. That distance decides the pixel pitch more than the brand of the board.
Photographs of this work are on the LED scrolling board gallery. The quote form on this page opens WhatsApp with your name, mobile number, the sign you need, and the height, width and unit.
