Flex face or acrylic face
Most high-street glow sign boards use a printed flex face stretched on an aluminium frame, with LED modules on a white tray behind it. That is the right build when the artwork is a full-colour logo and the board is wide.
An acrylic face is the better choice when you want deeper colour, pushed-through letters, or a board that will be washed often. We will say which one suits the photo you send, instead of using the same tray for every shop.
The power supply sits where it can be opened later. A glow board that cannot be serviced becomes a dark board. We leave that access in the drawing.
Where a glow board is the wrong tool
If you only need the name in metal on a daytime office wall, a glow box is extra weight and extra electricity. We will point you to letters instead. If the message has to change every hour, you need an LED display board, not a glow sign.
For a fixed shop name that must work at night, send the fascia width, the height under the slab, and a photo taken from the pavement.
What is included
- Backlit flex glow boards for wide shopfronts
- Acrylic glow faces where the artwork is simple and the board is washed often
- LED modules and a reachable power supply
- Fitted on shutters, ACP fascias and building bands
What to measure
Measure the band that is actually free: width between the side walls, and height from the shutter top or beam to the slab. Note a rolling shutter box if it eats into that band.
